Lying last in the table,West Brom look to revive their season by making some impressive signings and picking up points.They have been in a decent run of form picking up 6 points from their last 2 home games,a win could see them go as high as 16th in the table.Tony Mowbray,the West Brom manager feels that his side need to take points of Middlesbrough which would give them a psyclogical boost ahead of the Manchester United game.
Gareth Southgate,the Middlesbrough manager,believes that his side could do at job against West Brom at the Hawthorns and climb to as high as 11th in the table if the things go right.
Southgate said,"Things will be a lot easier because people understand why we are doing what we have done (refusing to sell any players in the January transfer window). "Now we can concentrate on what is more important and that is working to our utmost every week in the League. "We have to do it together as a team and our only thought now is to try to win Saturday's game at West Brom."
On-loan Nancy striker Marc-Antoine Fortune may make his West Brom debut, replacing the suspended Roman Bednar. Midfielder Filipe Teixeira could make his first Premier League start since recovering from a knee injury but James Morrison (hamstring) is still out. Middlesbrough captain Emanuel Pogatetz is struggling to shake off a hamstring problem and could miss the game. But Didier Digard has been passed fit after suffering a facial injury and Gary O'Neil has recovered from illness.
